Operators
Set your own price for your work and the days that you're available. The more reliable you are, the more you can earn. You work for yourself, not for us.
Why operators join
Lead sites bill you whether or not you win the job. We never charge for a lead. You pay a share of work you completed and were paid for, and nothing else.
Publish a rate card or quote each job by hand. Either way the number is yours.
The customer pays before you start. Finish the job, upload the photo, and the money is released to you. No chasing a homeowner for a check in February.
The same customers need mowing in June and plowing in January. One account, twelve months.
Where we fit
Brings you job requests inside the area you set, holds the customer's payment before you start, and releases it to you when the job is done and photographed. That is the whole of it.
We are not your employer. We do not set your prices, assign you jobs, schedule your day, require minimum hours, supply equipment, or tell you how to do the work. You are an independent business and we treat you like one.
When a customer accepts your quote, the agreement for that work is between you and them. You are responsible for the work you do and for carrying whatever cover you decide you need.
The customer sees the three best quotes first, ranked on price, rating and how soon you can start together. A cheap bid from a weak rating does not automatically top that list, and a strong rating can win at a price a cheaper operator cannot match.
Lawn and snow work is overwhelmingly done by men, and customers keep asking us for women operators we do not yet have. If that is you, there is demand here waiting and a real opening to build a book of work.
Every request tells you what is there before you quote: a dog in the yard, a gravel drive that will throw stone, cords or papers that disappear under snow, a raised slab, bins out on the day. The customer is asked all of it up front. If they leave something out and you cannot work, that counts as a late cancellation and you rate them for it. Ratings you give never count against your own.
Every job has a message thread. Ask about access, a gate code or a blocked drive, send a photo of a problem, tell them you are running late. You never have to hand out your personal number, and the conversation is on record if anything is questioned later.
Nothing is withheld from your payments. You operate as your own business and handle your own taxes.
Your rating
Reliability is not just about staying on the platform. Each threshold you hold gives you access to work that pays better or reaches you sooner.
Storm response and same-day work, carrying the emergency surcharge NoMowSnow sets, starting at $85 on top of your own price. Operators below 3.0 never see these.
Accept one and it must be finished within 24 hours. That is what the customer is paying the surcharge for. If you cannot get there inside the day, do not accept the job.
New requests in your area reach you before they go out to everyone else. On a busy morning that is the difference between quoting three jobs and quoting one.
A badge customers can see when they compare bids. Quotes are ranked on price and rating together, so a strong rating wins work at a price a cheaper operator cannot match.
Every tier above is earned the same way, and lost the same way. Ratings come from customers, over your recent jobs, so a bad month does not follow you forever and a good month shows up quickly.
Every job is a chance to protect it. Show up when you said you would, do the work properly, upload the photo. Drop below 3.0 and premium work pauses until your recent jobs bring it back. Ordinary jobs keep coming the whole time, so the way back is always open.
Premium work is opt-in. Check the box further down this page if you want it, and you can change your mind at any time. Ratings you give customers never count against you.
Before your first job
Short list, and most operators already have all of it.
Payment for completed work is deposited directly. We do not pay by check and we do not hold your money longer than we have to.
Job offers, quote responses and payment notices all go to email. You confirm the address before your first job.
You verify your identity through our verification partner during onboarding. Customers are handing a stranger access to their property, and this is how we take that seriously.
At least 14, or the minimum working age in your state, whichever is higher. If you are under 18 a parent or guardian signs alongside you, and they will need to set up the account your payments go to.
Mower and trimmer for lawn work, or a plow, blower or spreader for snow. Whatever you already run is probably fine.
